Accredited Debt Relief
Who we are:Accredited Debt Relief is a full service center that reviews options with consumers in credit card and other unsecured debt across the United States. Unsecured debt is debt that is not secured to a physical item or property. Unsecured debt includes credit cards, store cards, personal loans, collections, medical collections, and even balances owed on repossessed vehicles or homes. Secured loans include items like car loans, motorcycle loans, RV loans, watercraft loans, home loans, and federally backed student loans. If you are not sure what type of debt you have, it is important to speak with a representative to review your situation. Accredited Debt Relief prides itself on taking the time to speak with everyone that asks for help or advice, whether or not Accredited Debt Relief has solutions that fit each caller’s unique needs. It’s our belief that everyone deserves a helping hand especially in these trying economic times.
How we help:Many first time callers are surprised at how much information they learn, not only about debt relief options, but also about their own financial situation. The extra time spent reviewing their situation goes a long way in helping to decide on a program or a service that can help a consumer resolve their debt problems. It is important to make sure everyone comes to a conclusion on what their issues are, how they want to resolve them, and what other goals they have for a program.
Types of financial difficulties:There are many different types of issues that can lead to a financial hardship. These circumstances can include unforeseen medical bills, automobile expenses, college tuition, loss of income/employment, poor money management, and many other items. While the cause of a financial hardship can be many, most find themselves in a position where they are spending all or more than the amount of money they have coming in. Accredited Debt Relief works to help people in financial hardships find solutions to their problems. There are few worse financial feelings than seeing your hard earned savings get diminished so quickly to pay the monthly bills, especially knowing how long it took to build up those savings. Finding a solution to help reduce the monthly expenses and get back on track is a main goal of Accredited Debt Relief.
Common Solutions:Debt Consolidation Loan – A debt consolidation loan is used to pay off other creditors and combine them into one monthly payment and obligation. Many find it beneficial to have just one monthly bill each month, and sometimes the new loan can even have a lower interest rate than some higher rate credit cards. During the last few years, lenders have been very reluctant to issue debt consolidation loans except to those with the highest of credit scores, very little debt, a large amount of disposable income, and most times they want to secure the new loan to property with equity. This is hard for most people since they are taking unsecured debt and now securing it to a property, thus making it possible to lose the property if the loan is not repaid.
Credit Counseling / Debt Management – Is a good choice for people with raising incomes that are able to make their current minimum payments, and usually have extra money to put towards their bills every month. These programs is great for people that have higher credit card interest rates (20-30%) and can afford to more than the minimum payments required by the creditors. Usually these programs take 4-5 years to pay off all the debt.
Debt Negotiation / Debt Settlement – Is the most popular choice for people in a financial hardship or having difficulty making their monthly obligations. A debt negotiation program works with the individual creditors to help reduce the principle balance owed to each creditor. The creditor can accept a lump sum payment (where the whole amount due is paid at one time), or a term settlement (where multiple payments over a few months are accepted to pay off the debt). A debt negotiation program usually resolves the debt owed within 2-4 years depending on the amount of the debt and the commitment to resolving the debt by the client. Not only does a debt negotiation program reduce the amount paid back to the creditor, but it usually results in a monthly payment that is less than what is being asked by the credit card companies. This is a double benefit to those having trouble making their monthly bills because it can help free up some extra money each month to help put to those other expenses.
